Many wonderful volunteers worked with ConServe Group to renovate and modernize the kitchen at Faith Assembly of God Church in Hyannis. Faith Assembly hosts the Council of Churches' Faith Neighborhood Kitchen, which has served over 140,000 nutritious dinners to our food insecure neighbors since its inception in 2012. Thanks to the generosity of volunteers and donors, we are now working from a new ServSafe eligible kitchen. This will ensure that we will be able to keep serving meals for years to come.
Meals are being served to hungry families and individuals Mondays, Wednedays and Fridays each week.
Our sincere thanks to our team, Brian from the ConServ Group, and volunteers: Council Board member, Brig. Gen (Ret.) Jimmy Dishner, Don Sullivan and Fred Dempsey.
