For over 60 years, the Cape Cod Council of Churches has served low-income individuals and families throughout Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Our mission "To serve God by Serving Others" is central to the various programs and ministries that help touch the lives of thousands of Cape residents every year. We annually assist over 6500 Cape Codders. As a non-profit organization, the Council works with community organizations, churches and volunteers to serve residents of the Cape and Islands without regard for religious affiliation, or the lack thereof. From programs like Hands of Hope Outreach Center to A Baby Center, the Council actively helps those in need on Cape Cod.

Through our ministries, the Council has demonstrated its ability to identify unmet needs in our region, create a response to meet those needs, and partner with community resources to develop effective programs that reach out to our sisters and brothers. The Council celebrates relationships with congregations that provide volunteers to staff its ministries, clergy who serve on the Board of Directors, and faithful financial support to ensure the continuation of its ministries. We are also blessed with the support of local businesses, individuals, grants, and partnerships with organizations. We are an agency of the Cape & Islands United Way.

Funding comes from individual donors, businesses, member churches and grants. All services are provided to those in need regardless of their religious affiliation or lack thereof.
