Rev. Angela Menke Ballou

Board Member

Rev. Angela Menke Ballou is the Senior Pastor at Cotuit Federated Church. She is ordained in the United Church of Christ. Her interests and background include storytelling, peace advocacy, and community service. Her interest in peacemaking and justice work have taken her to Northern Ireland, Israel/Palestine, the US/Mexico border, and South Africa.

Her journey to ministry came after her first career as an engineer at Walt Disney World. She attended seminary at Iliff School of Theology in Denver, CO. While serving as Associate Minister at Second Congregational Church in Beverly, MA, she nurtured a partnership in ministry with the Casa San Jose, an orphanage in Colima, Mexico. In her current role, she is grateful for the ways her congregation partners with Habitat for Humanity on Cape Cod, Faith Family Kitchen (one of the Council’s six programs), and Miracle Kitchen to strengthen our local community and serve those most vulnerable.

Rev. Ballou loves adventures — especially in nature — while camping, hiking, and exploring National Parks. She also enjoys Cape Cod where she creates her home with her husband and son.
